October 2016 - New product range for MST - Portable fuel tanks

To help reduce our customers machine downtime and increase their machines performance, MST now offer portable fuel tanks which can be used on sites in remote areas to reduce inefficiency caused during the refueling process. March 2015 - MST 'the Movie premieres across the UK!

To help our customers understand what MST can offer, a 3 minute film was created to highlight MST's parts, service and repairs. The film was shot on site in Birtley and in a local quarry.

June 2014 - MST Online shop open for business

Hillhead 2014, saw MST launch their brand new online shop. Over 7000 parts have been listed, allowing customers to order their rubber tracks, mini undercarriage parts, rubber pads, bucket teeth and track repair parts at any time of day or night. The new site has taken over 18 months to develop and includes a vast database of information that will help customer find the correct parts for their machine. MST Director, Rory Whitehall explained "we are always looking at ways to provide a better service to our customers and we felt that allowing our customers to order parts at any time of the day or night was a good way to help achieve our goal".

November 2013 - MST Scotland has a new home!

After 25 years in their old depot in Airdrie, MST Scotland have relocated to a brand new depot in Cumbernauld, Glasgow. The new facility is based on a 2 acre site with a new 10,000 sq ft factory which will be used to hold the majority of MST's stock of rubber tracks as well as a larger volume of other machinery spare parts required to service the Scottish market, Scottish Director, Alan Montgomery, said the move will give the Scottish unit the space it needs to grow while easing the pressures of a swelling order book. He comments: "The new unit will provide us with the space we need as we continue to drive the business forward in Scotland. The new location boasts superb access to the motorway network via the M80 and M73, which will also help us to improve our stock and distribution processes."As well as significantly increasing the range and quantity of parts we have on the ground in Scotland, the location of our new premises will ensure even faster deliveries for our customers.

April 2013 - MST become an official "Hardox wear parts centre"

MST have been offering Hardox swedish steel for many years especially in the manufacture and repiar of the heavy duty hi spec buckets and attachments. In the last year however, Swedish steel (SSAB) decided to separate the Hardox wear parts section of the business from the plate section and have put a plan in place to develop the brand "hardox wear parts" and appoint specific authorised Hardox wear parts centres in each country. With this in mind, MST were appointed as an authorised wear parts centre in April 2013.

January 2013 - MST become USCO ITR authorised dealer for the UK

In January 2013, Italian machinery spare parts manufacturer, USCO ITR, appointed MST as their UK authorized distributor fo undercarriage and wear parts. MST have been offering ITR branded parts for many years but it was decided it was time for MST to make the decision to join the ITR team officially. USCO ITR are a truly global company, with distribution centres in Italy, South Africa, North and South America, Middle East, India, Asia and Australia. They have a group turnover of 270 million euros and are growing every year. The range of parts they offer include undercarriage parts, wear parts, engine parts and hydraulic hammers, The ITR brand is becoming well known around the world within the spare parts industry and now MST will have a pivotal role in developing the brand in the UK market.
